FAQ

Common questions.

Does AllTech support businesses outside Utah?

Yes, for the services that don't require physical hardware work — help desk, remote monitoring, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365/cloud, SASE/Zero Trust, backup and disaster recovery, and vendor management are all delivered remotely. Installation and on-site work (cameras, cabling, fiber, rack builds) is scoped to Northern Utah and southern Idaho, where our crews can actually reach you.

Can I get managed IT services if my team works remotely or hybrid?

Yes. Company-managed devices are supported the same way regardless of where they're being used, secured through Zero Trust Access rather than a legacy site-to-site VPN.

What IT services can be delivered virtually vs. require an on-site visit?

Help desk, monitoring and patching, cybersecurity, cloud/Microsoft 365, SASE/Zero Trust networking, and backup and disaster recovery are all handled remotely. Anything involving physical hardware — new cameras, cabling, fiber runs, door access hardware, or a rack build — needs an engineer on-site, which is why those stay scoped to our physical service area.

Do you support distributed or multi-location teams?

Yes — remote monitoring and management apply the same standard to every location, including sites without any on-site IT staff.

How fast can a remote engineer respond to an issue?

Most issues reported by phone, email, or the client portal reach an engineer the same day; monitored systems are watched continuously, so many problems are caught and resolved before anyone has to report them.
